Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of KumaSH ("the App"), developed and provided by Kumalabs ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using KumaSH, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
KumaSH is an iOS application that provides:
- An SSH terminal client for connecting to remote servers
- MOSH (Mobile Shell) support for persistent connections
- Integration with Anthropic's Claude Code AI assistant
The App is a client tool. It does not provide hosting, server infrastructure, or remote computing resources.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Authorization: Ensuring you have proper authorization to access any remote server or system you connect to using the App.
- Commands and Actions: All commands executed through the SSH terminal or via the Claude Code AI assistant. The App transmits your commands to the remote server — you bear full responsibility for their consequences.
- Credentials: Safeguarding your SSH keys, passwords, and authentication tokens. Do not share your device or credentials with unauthorized individuals.
- Compliance: Complying with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations when using the App.
- Server Security: Maintaining appropriate security configurations on your remote servers.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Gain unauthorized access to any computer system, network, or data
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of any system or network
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Kumalabs and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms and the End User License Agreement (EULA).
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any defects will be corrected
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- SSH or MOSH connections will be available at all times
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KUMALABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any data loss resulting from commands executed through the terminal
- Server downtime, connection failures, or data corruption
- Unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials
- Actions taken by the Claude Code AI assistant at your direction
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. AI Assistant Disclaimer
The Claude Code AI integration is provided as a convenience feature. AI-generated suggestions and commands should be reviewed before execution. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from following AI-generated advice or executing AI-suggested commands.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
